The buildings were identified and nominated by the public, screened and selected by Columbus Landmarks Advocacy Committee, and approved by its Board of Trustees. The list, announced in May 2015, provides the organization with a priority work list for its efforts and help maintain the spotlight on the most threatened structures.

Of the 13 Buildings on last year’s list, two were demolished (Clinton Elementary Annex and Vets Memorial); three saved (Gunning House, O’Shaughnessy Funeral Home, and the Dam Tender’s House); and eight are “pending” and carried over to this year’s Most Endangered Buildings List.
