Downtown Columbus is home to many historically and architecturally significant churches representing the finest in craftsmanship and ecclesiastical design. Please join us for a walking tour of four stalwart churches – enjoy seasonal music at each, and learn their rich histories and how they work to meet the needs of their dynamic congregations and the greater neighborhood, while being caretakers of some of Columbus’ most important buildings.

Tour begins at Broad Street United Methodist Church at 2 p.m. Free parking is available in the State Auto lot on the SE corner of Broad & Washington. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather. The tour route is 1.5 miles. If the weather is inclement or you wish to drive and park at each stop for accessibility reasons, limited on-street or nearby parking is available near each site.
Refreshments will be served at the fourth stop – the Christian Spiritualist Temple. The tour ends at the Topiary Park Holiday Lights, near the starting point of the tour. You may wish to extend your tour with a visit to State Auto’s Historic Christmas Display and Life-Sized Nativity, displayed annually since 1932.
