What is City Hop?
City Hop, presented by Columbus Landmarks Foundation, is a celebration of downtown living. The event begins on Friday evening with a Reception and the Kick-Off Progressive Preview Party hosted by residents of some of downtown Columbus’ premier addresses. On Saturday, City Hop participants take a self-guided walking tour of downtown residential buildings, visiting condos and apartments that are owner-occupied as well as those for sale or rent.
Who would enjoy City Hop?
Anyone who loves to look at living spaces and is interested in the experiences Columbus offers downtown residents. Anyone looking for an easygoing walk around downtown on a lovely mid-summer’s day. Anyone interested in the architecture and history of downtown residential buildings. Anyone interested in new design and decorative trends in urban living. Actually, everyone enjoys City Hop.
When is City Hop?
The Kick-Off Preview Party is Friday, June 11 beginning at 7 p.m. Tickets are limited to this exclusive event so if you plan to attend, buy your tickets early! The Self-guided walking tour of downtown living is Saturday, June 12 from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

What is the Columbus Landmarks Foundation?
Columbus Landmarks Foundation is a non-profit membership organization dedicated to preserving and celebrating Columbus's architectural legacy. Columbus Landmarks Foundation encourages community action in historic preservation and quality design of the built environment throughout central Ohio.
In addition to presenting City Hop, Columbus Landmarks Foundation hosts the annual Recchie Awards, recognizing contemporary urban design excellence.
Columbus Landmarks also hosts weekend guided walking tours in Columbus neighborhoods. The 2010 series runs from May through October with the tours led by historic preservation, architecture and history experts. Specialty tours such as the stained glass, advocacy site, forbidden city and Halloween tours are also hosted by Columbus Landmarks Foundation. Members receive ticket discounts. Member benefits include discount tickets to Columbus Landmarks Foundation events, Cornerstone newsletter and updates on local preservation and development issues. Columbus Landmarks Foundation also encourages members to join in committee work.
