The first in a series of 2018 workshops designed to help you care for and improve your older home will feature plaster repair. Original plaster walls have a strength and durability that is unmatched. Plaster walls contribute to the historic character of older homes.

Plaster Repair Workshop
Saturday, January 27  11am-1pm
Rickenbacker Woods Learning Center, 1330 E. Livingston Ave.
$10 Members/$15 Non-Members includes lunch

Preservationist and Conservator Lindsay Jones of Blind Eye Restoration will lead an informative discussion and demonstration of historic plaster restoration. Attendees will learn about the tools, materials, and restoration methods for the repair of interior plaster.

Space is limited so hurry and claim your seat! The Rickenbacker Woods Foundation Learning Center is located behind the boyhood home of Captain Eddie Rickenbacker, which is designated a National Historic Landmark. Free parking is available in the rear or on side streets. Lunch will be provided during the workshop.
