Historic Wood Windows Repair & Restoration

Have you ever struggled to open or close your house’s wooden windows? Do you have a cracked pane, peeling paint, or glazing falling off? Did know that repairing those historic wood windows can be provide as much energy efficiency as high-quality new replacement windows?

Learn that and more at another of our popular and informative window workshops. This will be a hands-on workshop where we’ll be repairing old wood windows at the studios of Blind Eye Restoration. Preservationist, contractor, and conservator Lindsay Jones will lead the work session. You won’t want to miss this!

DATE & TIME: Saturday, June 10, 2023 – 9am to 1pm
LOCATION: Blind Eye Restoration – 1954 E. Walnut St. Suite C, Columbus, OH 43205

• Class will begin with a presentation and discussion on the care and repair of historic wood windows.
• Participants will have hands-on experience in window repair.
• Please wear comfortable work clothes and shoes with closed toes – no sandals.
• Coffee, juice & pastries will be served.

$35.00 for Columbus Landmarks members
$45.00 for non-members
