The Home Preservation Loan Fund provides low-interest home improvement loans in neighborhoods that have experienced disinvestment and areas that have yet to benefit from the economic advantages of historic preservation.
The Fund provides low-interest loans for exterior repairs and improvements to help maintain the architectural integrity of older homes and neighborhoods, and to help create equity in Columbus.
The Home Preservation Loan Fund has been seeded through careful stewardship of a bequest we received in 2010 from a long time supporter, Dixie Sayre Miller, along with a generous matching grant from The 1772 Foundation of Providence, R.I. In addition, the Ann Sherry Foundation has also made a generous grant to increase the available pool of Capital.
